Witness

For years I have strived to give my bags a human-like spirit. I want you to feel connected to the bag the same way you feel about another living thing.  Its cliché but it’s true, the eye is the window to the soul. A stroke of unbelievable good luck has given me access to 25 prosthetic eyes made by one of the best glass eye makers in the world, Tobi from Ocular Prosthetik in Frankfurt Germany. The addition of these eyes gives the bags a life that is scary real. They don’t just look real, they actually feel alive. I’ve used techniques gained from my career of glass blowing to embellish around the eye to give them personality and emotion. I loved making these bags. I feel so inspired. I hope you love them too.
