This was the very first bag I made after I made the Coperni bags. I drew this out in my sketch book on the plane home from Paris fashion week 2022. Spikes are not a passing fad for me. They pierce my heart. There is something about the playful aggression that resonates with me. Design wise, I love the energy and the visual volatility they bring. They can be relaxed when they slump down or manic when the jut outwards like rays of energy. It’s a great design motif because it’s striking visually and emotionally.
